“The President has just received us, the World Water Council, and the National Organizing Committee for the 10th World Water Forum in Bali in 2024. He mentioned six topics to be discussed at the World Water Forum later, including ‘water for human and nature’,” said Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono in his statement after accompanying the President in a meeting.

According to Minister Basuki, this topic has become a concern because according to the President, currently, the world is facing global water crises. Therefore, he hoped the 10th World Water Forum in Bali will produce several concrete recommendations.

“He sees that we are currently facing global water crises. For this reason, he hopes that the 10th World Water Forum will not only be a regular conference but produce concrete recommendations for action,” said Minister Basuki.

Furthermore, Minister Basuki said that the entire Board of Governors of the World Water Council, consisting of 56 people and more than 1,400 participants, will attend the kick-off meeting on 15—16 February.
